About this project:

Whimsical action-adventure set in the humand mind with epic bosses and musical showdowns.

Figment 2: Creed Valley is the successor to the critically-acclaimed surreal puzzle adventure from 2017. I was brought in halfway through the project as a producer to take care of everything related to task management, roadmap planning and general coordination between team members. We simultaneously shipped the game on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox X|S, Epic and GOG.

My main responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of a 12-person team using the Scrum framework
  • Creating a task & sprint framework from scratch using Jira
  • Responsible for stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, post-mortems, etc.
  • Roadmap planning and project scoping
  • Facilitating external communication with key stakeholders such as Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and Valve
  • Spearheading cross-disciplinary strike teams
  • Establishing content pipelines and bug-reporting procedures
  • Overseeing quality assurance and playtesting
  • Taking charge of the text localization process and collaboration with AllCorrect Games
  • Recording video material for marketing initiatives such as Nintendo Indie World and OTK Game Expo
