Tired of reaching your arm out to grab stuff? Use the Ultra Hand instead; it’s much more fun!
As part of the course “Modelling Physical Systems” at Medialogy 8th semester, I created a simple simulation of the Nintendo toy called the Ultra Hand, invented by Gunpei Yokoi in 1966. Using hinge joints in Unity, I managed to to create the scissor-like construction in order to make the arms of the toy move back and forth. The system is not 100% stable, but it works in most cases (and is pretty fun, too).
